The Diageo Reserve Portfolio has created a remarkable experience at this year’s Whisky & Spirits Live Festival set to take place at the Sandton Convention Centre from 8 - 10 November 2017.
The experience will kick off with the aptly themed World Class Mixology Sessions. Visitors will enjoy a Masterclass, led by Diageo’s Reserve Brand Ambassadors, with a special appearance by their Global Ambassador Donald Colville, on cocktail making including tips on how to host the best Canape & Cocktail evening! Making use of World Class luxury spirits including Ketel One Vodka, Don Julio Tequila, Bulleit Bourbon, Cardhu Single Malt Whisky, Ron Zacapa rum and Tanqueray no. 10 Gin, the aim of the Mixology Sessions is to drive recognition for the World Class platform through teaching consumers about the art of quality cocktails and delivering a luxury drinking experience in the comfort of your own home. The Whisky & Spirits Live platform will also serve as a launch of the World Class Cocktail Week – an exciting, week-long occasion of curated cocktail events and experiences staged in 8 key partner outlets across the country to engage consumers and give them a first-hand educational experience of Diageo’s World Class luxury brands, as selected by the best bar tenders around the world.

Donald Colville graces our country’s shores for a bespoke colloquium on Diageo’s 2017 Special Release limited edition whisky range. The Special Releases Collection - which includes rare, single malts from famous and closed distilleries that represent the peak of single malt whisky - will be released at the Whisky & Spirits Live Festival, in strictly limited quantities. These whiskies are truly special and often individually numbered, with only a few thousand bottles available worldwide. The Diageo World Class experience and Special Release collection are sure to thrill whisky enthusiasts and collectors who will gather at the Sandton Convention Centre for this year’s event.
