The House of Walker set to marvel at Whisky & Spirits Live

By Whisky Live Staff 17-10-2017

Iconic global Scotch Whisky brand, Johnnie Walker®, will present a host of notable activities at this year’s Whisky & Spirits Live. The House of Walker will offer an all-immersive tasting experience while the brand will also launch the globally acclaimed #Lovescotch movement which is set to re-ignite and celebrate South African's love for Scotch Whisky.

Johnnie Walker prides itself in creating exclusive, differentiated experiences some of which will be showcased at the brand's various activations at this year’s Whisky & Spirits Live. The stand will elevate the whisky tasting experience by inviting guests to linger, explore and discover the rich history and heritage of the House of Walker while savoring their favourite Johnnie Walker Whisky.

Guests will also be inspired by acclaimed Global Brand Ambassador, Donald Colville. Colville will spend some time in Norman Goodfellows at the show to discuss the 2017 Special Releases - different and rare limited edition expressions available for purchasing at the show. He and other Johnnie Walker Ambassadors, will also talk visitors to the stand through how best to savour the rich and luxurious flavours of the liquid by explaining how it is blended and some of the brand's remarkable history.

Donald Colville, Diageo's Global Reserves Brand Ambassador, will be at Whisky & Spirits Live this year.

Johnnie Walker’s history is based on inspiring and celebrating progress. As Alexander Walker, one of the pioneering forces who made Johnnie Walker a world leader in Scotch Whisky today, said over a century ago: “We are determined to make our Whisky of such a standard that nothing in the market shall come before it.”
